Fish Rock Brewery Red Emperor Amber Ale
Following the trend, this is another 'red ale' from yet another small brewery. Interesting that the quality is so variable amongst these small brewery beers - with so many more reaching the market now, we can expect this to change as many sink or swim.
I can't say I'm a fan of this one though. it smells toasty & richly malted, but the palate is short and simple - it starts so well, but nothing carries through to the back end. Next.
