Rise Clare Valley Shiraz 2010 (Clare, SA)
Grapes destemmed but not crushed, this spent 2 weeks on skins in open fermenters with hand plunging, basket pressing and then 30 months in new and used French and American oak.
Much to like for Clare Shiraz lovers, there is heart beyond the oak.
Would I buy it? In 10 years time you’d be quite happy to have this in the cellar I think.
