The go-to wine in the Torzi house apparently and I can understand why – juicy, berry driven Sangiovese with a proper bronze Sangio edge and a very affable personality. It’s perhaps a little volatile and entirely more about rich Barossan fruit than strictly Sangio, the mid palate particularly full and rich and a bit one-dimensional. Yet still the sandy tannins stamp this as genuine Sangiovese and no questioning the commercial attractiveness – right on the money for a $20 Sangio.

Would I buy it? A glass prospective only.
