La Bise Adelaide Hills Tempranillo 2014
La Bise is Natasha Mooney’s new label, and this Temp comes from the Amadio Vineyard at Kersbrook, up where the Hills head towards the Barossa. A warmer spot that, and could be well suited to Temp.
Cherries, rum and raisin chocolate, and cola in a proper varietal style. This could be modern Spanish Temp! It’s going to need some time in bottle, with the warmth noticeable and the finish a bit jangly. Love the proper Temp stamp though.
Best drinking: 2018-2025. 17/20, 90/100. 14%, $22. Would I buy it? I’d go a glass.
