As you might have noticed, I’m on the Adelaide Hills train this week, covering off a small collection of regional new releases. I really love Adelaide Hills Chardonnay, and there was two delights in this lot – including the ever delicious Shaw & Smith M3 Chardonnay and the perfectly proportioned new Tapanappa Tiers 1.5m.
While there was no real misses, there was plenty of questions – about oak excess and Pinot suitability. Plus, the best $12 rosé anywhere in the country.
As ever, thanks for reading and I’d really like to hear you’re feedback. What would you like to see covered here on Australian Wine Review?

I really like the regional tastings, that’s how I came across your site in the first place. I was noodling around on the web looking for reviews of wines from Orange a few years back and came across the reviews you had compiled from a trip there.
Cheers Simon and great to have your support!
A round up of recent releases of Canberra District wines would be nice to see
I second that.
Great blog. Excellent work.
