From the Tate family’s Margaret River operation, this Miles From Nowhere Best Blocks Cabernet Sauvignon 2019 is a value-for-money treasure.
It’s a minty, comfortably varietal and regional Margaret River Cabernet that is both rich and ripe yet remains medium-bodied. You’ve got to like a little mint, and the finish is rather raw ( as alcohol, acidity and tannins don’t quite mesh), but for impact and Margaret River-ness at this price, it’s a steal.
Best drinking: now and well into the 2030s. 17.7/20, 92/100. 14.5%, $24.99. Miles From Nowhere website. Would I buy it? Worth a few glasses.

Completely agree Andrew, advice am hoping they continue to put the same fruit in their secret label deals with Kemeny. They must be the best bargains for good Cabernet in Australia. Also noted your recommendation of the Yalumba Cigar Cab Sauv 2018, as I have been impressed with past vintages
