Well, I liked the Pinot Noir, and I think this Crittenden Peninsula Chardonnay 2021 might be even more interesting.
Nutty, porridge and cider style with HEAPS going on. Sour, mealy, cool, coiled, a bit oxidative and tart too. It’s a bit divisive and sour but I’m intrigued – it’s like a smorgasbord of fruit and winemaking elements. Interest.
Best drinking: I’d drink it sooner than later. 17.7/20, 92/100. 12.5%, $37. Crittenden Wines website. Would I buy it? Let’s share a bottle.
